I am a registered financial advisor and real estate investor.  I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with concentration in Finance from Truman State University, in Kirksville, Missouri and my M.B.A. from Fontbonne University in St. Louis, Missouri. I began my investment banking career with Stifiel, Nicolaus & Co., and later joined Stern Brothers & Co. In my role, I assisted public and private entities in raising funds in the debt market to fund projects. I was responsible for assisting the client from beginning to end, including, structuring, developing the prospectus, and identifying potential investors. I left the investment banking industry in 2002 to focus on my family. During this time, I enjoyed volunteering in the community. In 2013, my business partner and best friend, Tammy Kaiser, and I co-founded Hometown Rental Solutions, a real estate investment company. In 2023, after dedicating numerous years to volunteering in various financial roles and fueled by my passion for assisting others with their finances, I founded Northpointe Financial Advisors, LLC, a financial advisory firm.

My passion stems from recognizing the growing need for financial education in underserved communities through my volunteer efforts over the years. It brings me so much joy to offer guidance that helps others develop financial stability. I believe that small changes in how you handle your finances can have a huge impact on your overall financial objectives.  For example, one client established an emergency fund and began implementing a plan to pay off outstanding debt.   

In my leisure time, I enjoy golfing, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
